BMW is about to find out if their electric gamble – First i3s to German customers

During a special ceremony at BMW Welt, BMW Board Member Ian Robertson presented keys to a handful of buyers including Christine Haderthauer who is the head of the Bavarian State Chancellor’s Office and State Minister for Federal Affairs and Special Tasks.
BMW is about to find out if their electric gamble is going to pay off as the company has just delivered the first i3s to German customers.
In a speech, Robertson said “Today marks a milestone in the history of the BMW Group, as we hand over our first BMW i premium electric vehicle to customers. In doing so, we are bringing sustainable mobility to the roads.”
